Current Commissions Juggling

I'm very lucky to be able to be making enough money to live off with commissions at the moment. Sometimes I suffer with confidence issues and imposter syndrome and wondering why I deserve these jobs, its very annoying but I'm getting better at it. I'm also getting better at taking on jobs which I'm excited about and working for joy. I have 3 commissions going on at the moment and they're all projects I'm really invested in and want to be successful because they are for great people. Its refreshing to be in a place where I'm enjoying work again and getting exciting about jobs, I've come a long way from my Big Slump period before Christmas where my confidence levels were rock bottom.


Nice People x Everpress

The lovely duo that is Nice People Magazine have been approached by Everpress to make a tshirt design!! I worked with Nice People last year to design the cover of one of their issues and they've v v kindly asked me to design the tshirt for them - the theme is "nice people doing nice things"

Everpress came into uni last week to do a chat / workshop about what they do. Such a great company, they put artists first - unlike places like Society6 etc, artists actually make a decent profit from Everpress and theyre always promoting up and coming people which is great. I love their focus on sustainability, they only make the amount of tshirts that is sold, thus greatly minimising waste.
I chatted to Nick who works there and he was so nice and helpful about specifics of uploading work to the site.

I'm so excited for this job, really lovely brief for really lovely people!!


Danes Educational Trust

This is a project my Auntie got me involved in. The project is to visually represent the 6 of the Trusts values: Joy, Resilience, Safety, Equality, Optimism, Wellbeing.
The marketing lady I'm working with is really supportive, and its really cool that they aren't interested in anything corporate, they want my interpretations.
They're also very aware of licensing which is really great, and I know they will be transparent with what they are using my work on as we have talked about licensing, which is really refreshing seen as the licensing issue I had a few months back with another job.

Exciting project, just a biggie to be juggling alongside FMP but I'm sure I'll be okay!



Sea Legs - Single Artwork

Sea Legs are releasing another single called Cupboards which I'm doing the artwork for. I love working with them because we're all on the same page with aesthetic taste, they are very into analogue production and its great bouncing off ideas and references. We have a Pinterest board which we are all collaborators on which is great to be bubbling away constantly. Also have some further ideas of other things we can make / do like banners to go behind the stage , and merch like wall hangings etc! Exciting stuff
